ACCOUNT MANAGER (APAC)

• Develop and manage a portfolio of B2B clients in assigned APAC markets, acting as their primary point of contact at GMO Runsystem
• Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, referral networks, LinkedIn, and industry events
• Own the full sales cycle: from initial outreach, needs discovery, and proposal creation through negotiation, contract closure, and onboarding handoff
• Build trusted relationships with key decision-makers — CTO, IT Director, VP Engineering, and Procurement — at target accounts
• Collaborate with pre-sales and technical teams to craft compelling, tailored proposals and solutions that address client pain points
• Achieve and exceed quarterly revenue and gross margin targets; maintain accurate pipeline reporting in the CRM
• Monitor account health, proactively resolve escalations, and identify upsell / cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
• Represent GMO Runsystem at APAC industry events, trade shows, and client site visits (travel required periodically)
• Share market intelligence and client feedback with the product and delivery teams to continuously improve our service offering

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or other relevant field
• From 3 years of B2B sales or account management experience
• Proven experience in IT services, software outsourcing, technology solutions or SaaS.
• Fluent in business English (IELTS 7.0 or equivalent)
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Comfortable working independently in a target-driven environment
• Familiarity with APAC business culture and enterprise buying processes
• Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent)

• Nice to have

• Existing network in APAC tech / IT ecosystem (Singapore, AU, TH, IND, HK, TW priority)
• Experience with offshore / nearshore engagement models
• Background in software development or IT project delivery
• Familiarity with Japanese corporate culture and decision-making processes
• Additional APAC language skills (Thai, Japanese, Mandarin) a plus
