GMO-Z.com RUNSYSTEM Joins Viettel IDC Friendly Tournament 2017

From February 18 to March 4, 2017, the matches of the Viettel IDC 2017 Friendly Tournament took place successfully at Thanh Phat Stadium (Hoang Minh Giam, Cau Giay, Hanoi). GMO-Z.com RUNSYSTEM was one of Viettel IDC’s valued customers participating in the tournament as a guest team and left many good impressions in the hearts of the fans.

On the morning of February 18, the Opening Ceremony of the “Viettel IDC and Customers 2017” Friendly Football Tournament, celebrating the 9th anniversary of Viettel IDC, was held at Thanh Phat Stadium. Viettel IDC (Viettel-CHT) is a joint venture between the Military Telecom Group – Viettel and Chunghwa Telecom – Taiwan, providing and operating internet data center services in Vietnam. The tournament featured strong teams from Topica, VP Bank, the Ministry of Finance,… and of course, GMO-Z.com RUNSYSTEM.

FC GMO-Z.com RUNSYSTEM was considered one of the strong teams of the tournament and was highly expected to achieve top rankings. The first match took place right after the opening ceremony between FC GMO-Z.com RUNSYSTEM and the host team Viettel IDC.

After 2 weeks of exciting matches, the tournament officially closed on March 4. On the morning of the Closing Ceremony, the playoff match for third place and the Championship Final took place. Unfortunately, FC GMO-Z.com RUNSYSTEM had to stop early this time, but the players were still highly appreciated for their expertise as well as their “fair play” spirit.

At the end of the tournament, the championship trophy belonged to FC KHDN – VTT (of Viettel IDC), the silver medal went to FC Topica, the bronze medal to FC Garena, and the Style Award to FC GMO-Z.com RUNSYSTEM.
