GMO-Z.com RUNSYSTEM talked about “Developing high quality human resources of new trend technologies” at Japan ICT Day 2017
As part of the activities of Japan ICT Day 2017 held from October 25th to 28th 2017 in Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang city, Nguyen Tan Minh, Deputy Director of GMO-Z.com RUNSYSTEM, has shared an interesting topic on “Developing high quality human resources for new trend technologies for Vietnam – Japan cooperation” on the second day of the event.
Japan IT Day 2017 – Japan ICT Day 11th was organized by VINASA and Vietnam- Japan IT Cooperation Club (VJC) in Ho Chi Minh City with the topic: “Digital Transformation: New era for cooperation Vietnamese-Japanese IT”. Mr. Phan Tam, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications, Mr. Hosoya Kazunori, Deputy General Consulate of Japan in Ho Chi Minh City, together with more than 300 national and international delegates (including over 60 delegates from Japan) participated in the activities of the program in 04 days from 25th to 28th October, 2017 in Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang.

The seminar discussed the current situation of the digital industry in Japan and Vietnam, indicated challenges for Vietnamese enterprises that were and would cooperate with Japan on the transfer of human resources in the future. According to a survey of 1,000 Japanese enterprises in the past three years, the shortage of IT human resources in both quality and quantity has reached 80%. In that situation, it is necessary and indispensable for foreign human resources. This shift of human resources brought challenges to the country’s IT, more specifically, the offshore sector.
Also in this seminar, Mr. Nguyen Tan Minh and the speakers affirmed, these new trends were challenging but also a great opportunity for Offshore Vietnam enterprises if they wanted to exploit deeper into the Japan‘s IT market. At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Tan Minh also proposed solutions to attract the attention of companies, which was combining business operations with training to Transfer existing human resources of the business to adapt to new requirements of Japan.
