The launch ceremony of K-Invoice Electronic Invoice Software was attended by Mr. Tran Duc Tam – Director of the Internet Infrastructure Center, Mr. Dang Xuan Truong – Project Manager, Mr. Tran Ngoc Hieu – Infrastructure Project Manager, Mr. Nguyen Ba Minh Hoang – Technical Manager, Mr. Pham Minh Tuan – Sales & Marketing Manager, along with the project implementation team.

Starting from July 1st, 2022, according to the 2019 Law on Tax Administration and Decree 123/2020/NĐ-CP regulations, businesses must use electronic invoices (except for certain exceptional cases that do not meet the requirements). To meet the usage needs of enterprises and seize the wide-ranging development opportunities of this service, Tenten.vn and Kaike of GMO-Z.com RUNSYSTEM have invested in research and development to build the K-Invoice product, starting from February 2023 and completing it in June 2023.

K-Invoice will be integrated into the existing Kaike Intelligent Accounting Software as a new feature, serving the retail business of electronic invoices, in compliance with Circular 78/2021/TT-BTC of the Ministry of Finance and Decree 123/2020/NĐ-CP of the Government regarding electronic invoices for the sale of goods and provision of services. Some main functions of the software include:

• Creating, issuing, adjusting, replacing, canceling, and converting invoices.
• Sending invoices to customers via email or converting them into paper invoices.
• Generating customized invoice templates or selecting from a library of available templates.
• Various statistical reports such as invoice usage status, management of incoming invoices, and sales summary.
• Unlimited access to account management and permissions for each employee.
• Free 10-year storage of invoices.
• Bulk uploading of product and customer information.
• Automatic updating of new versions following tax-related business requirements.

Currently, the use of electronic invoices in Vietnam is becoming a popular trend and is encouraged by the government and regulatory agencies. Electronic invoices help reduce reliance on traditional paper invoices, save time and resources, and minimize data errors. Invoices can be quickly generated and sent via email or invoice management software. Businesses can easily access and search for invoice information in the system without worrying about loss or spending much time searching.

Speaking about the potential and development direction of K-Invoice, Mr. Tran Duc Tam shares: “The technical team and support team have made tremendous efforts day and night to ensure that the product is launched according to the set schedule. K-Invoice is the first product in the financial product series for businesses the company aims for. Hopefully, this product will lay a solid foundation for us to serve more customers, support start-up businesses, and bring revenue and profits to GMO.”
