The event, hosted by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Vietnam and the Korean Ministry of SMEs and Startups, aims to promote cooperative development in the startup sector between Korea and Vietnam, while facilitating connections between businesses from both countries. The event attracted over 70 representatives from various agencies and companies such as Korean-Vietnamese startups, VC, and AC, who came together to share experiences, network, and discuss collaboration opportunities.

In his welcoming remarks, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Korea to Vietnam Choi Youngsam affirmed that Vietnam and Korea, as pioneers in accelerating startup stories, always actively support startups to grow into medium-sized enterprises or large corporations. The “Korea – Vietnam Startup Networking Day” event not only serves as a platform for startups to meet and foster goodwill but also as a crucial opportunity to promote innovation among startups from both countries and work together to realize greater dreams.
