The program was organized under the auspices of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Vietnam and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups of Korea, aiming to promote cooperative development in the startup sector between Korea and Vietnam, as well as to facilitate connections between businesses from both countries. The event attracted over 70 representatives from various organizations and enterprises, including Korean-Vietnamese startups, VCs, ACs, who came together to share, connect, and discuss potential collaboration opportunities.
In his welcome speech, H.E. Choi Youngsam, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Korea to Vietnam, affirmed that both Vietnam and Korea—nations writing their own startup acceleration stories—are actively supporting startups in their journey to grow into mid-sized companies or large corporations. The “Korea – Vietnam Startup Networking Day” was not merely a friendly meetup for startups but also a vital opportunity to foster innovation and realize greater dreams together.
