GMO-Z.com RUNSYSTEM organizes annual health check-ups for employees

From December 7 to December 11, 2017, GMO-Z.com RUNSYSTEM organized annual health check-ups for all employees at the headquarters in Hanoi, the Da Nang branch, and the Ho Chi Minh City branch. This is one of GMO-Z.com RUNSYSTEM’s annual activities that demonstrates the Board of Directors’ care for employees’ lives and health, while also being a highlight in the company’s efforts to build corporate culture.

“The most valuable assets in life are Health and Intelligence.” For each individual, good health means having everything. For a business, the health of its employees is a vital factor determining productivity, work performance, and the company’s success.

In this year’s health check-up, Runners underwent comprehensive examinations: chest X-ray, abdominal ultrasound, thyroid ultrasound, bone density scan, kidney function test, liver function test, complete blood count and urinalysis, etc., to detect and address potential health issues in a timely manner. Experienced doctors directly examined and thoroughly assessed the health of each GMO-Z.com RUNSYSTEM employee in order to provide accurate diagnoses and develop care plans to protect and improve health. At the same time, these check-ups helped detect possible illnesses early, allowing for prompt and effective treatment.

Mr. Trần Tuấn Đạt (Training Center) expressed his excitement about the health check-up: “The company organizing health check-ups for employees is a very necessary activity. In today’s increasingly polluted living environment, when everyone is busy with work and family, hardly anyone is willing to dedicate an entire day to a full medical examination at a reputable facility. Thank you to the HR Department and the Board of Directors for understanding our concerns and caring for employees’ health.”

Ms. Nguyễn Thị Ngọc (SQA) also greatly appreciated the health check-up and shared: “All employees were examined in at least four key areas that are most prone to health issues: blood tests, bone density scans, ultrasounds, and X-rays. Some, like me, chose to do a few extra tests for peace of mind. After being examined and consulted by the doctors, I felt less worried about my health and became more conscious about taking better care of myself.”

Given the busy nature of the work, many employees are often reluctant to go to a hospital for a full check-up, or only do so when they feel unwell. The annual health check-ups organized by the company not only help employees save costs but also save time compared to going to medical facilities individually.
