GMO-Z.com RUNSYSTEM implements chip ID & biometric authentication for Bac A Bank
GMO-Z.com RUNSYSTEM has successfully completed the implementation of the chip-embedded citizen identity card and biometric authentication system for Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank in a record time of just 2 weeks with the SmartKYC.eID solution. This project has enabled Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank to comply with Decision No. 2345 issued by the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) before the deadline of July 1, 2023, while ensuring a seamless verification process and appropriate load balancing to provide customers with an uninterrupted experience.

In this project, GMO-Z.com RUNSYSTEM played a role in coordinating and consulting on each step of implementing customer verification and enhancing payment security. At the same time, we provided timely solutions with full functionality according to the standards of the State Bank of Vietnam (NHNN) and Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank with the SmarKYC.eID solution.

More than 300 verification devices at transaction counters have been installed and are expected to handle millions of verification transactions (via mobile application and at counters). Despite the tight implementation timeline for both GMO-Z.com RUNSYSTEM and Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank, the deployment process faced many arising issues. Supporting Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank in managing risks during system changes and assisting in integration for maximum performance.
Utilizing the existing infrastructure to ensure a smooth verification flow and appropriate load balancing in line with Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank's business plan to ensure an uninterrupted customer experience."
