As part of promoting strategic cooperation in the fintech sector, SinoPac Financial Holdings – one of Taiwan’s leading financial groups – recently paid an official visit and held a working session at the headquarters of GMO-Z.com RUNSYSTEM in Hanoi.

During the meeting, both parties reviewed and evaluated the implementation progress of the biometric eID authentication solution deployed at transaction counters. This solution enhances security, standardizes processes, and improves customer experience in financial transactions. Phase one of the project has been completed with the successful deployment of core authentication features, while phase two is currently under development, focusing on improving operational efficiency, reducing processing time, and expanding system functionalities.

Representatives from SinoPac also toured the working environment and assessed the technological capabilities at GMO-Z.com RUNSYSTEM. GMO-Z.com RUNSYSTEM also introduced its outstanding capabilities in IT services, digital transformation, and technology solutions for the financial and banking sector.

In addition to discussing project progress, both sides exchanged views on long-term cooperation directions, emphasizing opportunities to expand sustainable collaboration throughout digital transformation initiatives and adapt to specific requirements of the Vietnamese market. The potential integration of additional technology solutions to optimize operational processes, enhance service quality, and foster innovation in the financial and banking sector was also highlighted as a key focus for future cooperation.

Notably, the discussion also addressed the implementation of strategies aligned with Circular 17/2024-NHNN, an important legal framework that is creating favorable conditions for technology cooperation in the banking sector. This is considered a significant foundation for GMO-Z.com RUNSYSTEM and SinoPac Financial Holdings to strengthen their strategic partnership, promising outstanding cooperative outcomes in the Vietnamese market.
