The Vietnam – Korea IT Cooperation Program 2017 was successfully held in Hanoi from September 11 – 13, 2017. The event was organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology in collaboration with the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA), the Korea IT Promotion Agency, and the Vietnam Internet Association, aiming to exchange business experiences between Vietnamese and Korean ICT enterprises, thereby strengthening mutual understanding between the two sides.
Taking place over three days, the Vietnam – Korea IT Cooperation Program 2017 featured key activities such as: 1:1 B2B meetings between Korean and Vietnamese companies; presentations of IT products and solutions; networking sessions; contract signings; and memorandums of understanding. This was truly an opportunity for ICT enterprises from both countries to share ideas, exchange business experiences, explore development opportunities, and further strengthen the close relationship between Vietnam and Korea.
As a company operating in the IT services sector, GMO-Z.com RUNSYSTEM also took part in this event. At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Tan Minh – Deputy Director of the company, and Mr. Le Quang Trung – Head of the Software Department, introduced the services and new technologies the company is currently developing. In addition, they shared practical experiences from projects the company has implemented with representatives of participating enterprises.
Currently, Korea is one of Vietnam’s key strategic partners, and Vietnam has also become Korea’s leading strategic partner in Southeast Asia. In particular, cooperation in the field of ICT is contributing to strengthening this relationship as well as to the development of both countries.
The program welcomed nearly 40 IT enterprises from both countries, including 16 Korean companies such as: Anetcom, Cobaltray, DSPOne, eGlobal Systems, ESE, JC1, KDM, and more.
Another opportunity has opened up for enterprises of the two countries, and we have every reason to look forward to future collaborations between GMO-Z.com RUNSYSTEM and potential partners from Korea.
