GMO-Z.com RUNSYSTEM Wins VINASA Badminton Championship 2017
On the morning of March 26, 2017, the VINASA Badminton Championship 2017 – the very first season organized by the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA) – took place at Nghia Tan Secondary School Stadium (No. 14, To Hieu Street, Cau Giay District, Hanoi).
The first season featured the following categories: men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, and mixed doubles, attracting enthusiastic participation from many teams: NIDI, VNPT, Rikkeisoft, Misa, BH Tech, NTQ, Sea-Solutions, Harmony Soft, NAL, and of course, GMO-Z.com RUNSYSTEM.
GMO-Z.com RUNSYSTEM entered the men’s doubles category with two representatives: Mr. Vu Tien Cong (Business Solution Division) and Mr. Tran Tuan Dat (Training Center).
GMO-Z.com RUNSYSTEM and Misa faced off in the final match, delivering a tense and dramatic competition that kept supporters on edge, filled with excitement, suspense, and surprises. With determination, effort, and well-devised strategies, the two representatives of GMO-Z.com RUNSYSTEM brought home the championship trophy.
Bursting with joy after the victory, Mr. Tran Tuan Dat shared: “I feel extremely happy, especially at the moment we made a comeback after losing the first set and even trailing for more than half of the second set. We then adjusted our strategy and encouraged each other, and fortunately, those efforts helped us secure the win. I hope that in future seasons, we can bring glory to the company in more categories, so that GMO becomes No.1.”
The men’s singles and mixed doubles titles went to Rikkeisoft, while the women’s singles title was claimed by the “home team” Misa.
The badminton tournament organized by VINASA was not only an opportunity for sports enthusiasts in general, and badminton lovers in particular, to showcase their skills, but also a source of motivation to promote sporting spirit, improve physical fitness among members of different organizations, and a chance for companies to network, build friendly partnerships, and grow together.
