In the era of rapidly advancing 4.0 technology, most banks in Vietnam are actively developing Mobile Banking applications, allowing customers to access banking services anytime, anywhere via mobile devices. Especially after the success of e-wallets like Alipay and WeChat in China, banks are focusing on integrating QR Code scanning features or QR Payment Gateways into their Mobile Banking apps to enable payments at both online (via Website) and offline (via Mobile App) stores. Launched in December 2019, Project XX was taken over by a team of nearly 20 members from different groups: Smartphone (3), Web (5), TSD (2), and Bizsystem (10). Built using Java and Angular, this was the team's first end-to-end banking project. Due to the high accuracy and security requirements of the banking sector, the team faced many challenges in understanding the business processes and designing a suitable payment system. Furthermore, advanced technologies such as microservices and QR code payment were new and complex for many members. Since the project involved nearly 20 people from different teams—some familiar, some not—it initially encountered many communication and understanding issues. Fortunately, despite diverse viewpoints, all members shared the same goal: to complete the project and deliver a high-quality product to the client. Gradually, the team became more synchronized, cooperative, and understanding. The project progressed smoothly and received positive feedback from the client. “At this moment, I truly feel honored to work with such talented and dedicated teammates!” – shared Mr. QuangVV (BSD), Project Manager of the project.
The project has now been in progress for 3 months, and the team is working together to complete the final steps toward delivery. Hopefully, Project XX will continue to perform well and win customer trust and smiles, staying true to the motto: “We work for your smile”. *Note: For confidentiality reasons, the project and client names have been changed*
