Hanoi Headquarters Expands Office for Growth Goals!

2019 was a year of strong growth for GMO-Z.com RUNSYSTEM in both quantity and quality. The company implemented strategic changes in development and focused its investment on both human and technological resources to produce many valuable products aimed at improving people’s lives. As announced by President Go Van Tau at the 2019 New Year Party in May regarding the expansion of the Hanoi headquarters, the Hanoi team was excited to welcome the new office. The strategic shift to increase the number of employees working at the Hanoi office was the foundation for the expansion of the headquarters. Accordingly, since May 2019, all IID and BizConnex department employees have moved to the new office on the 12th floor of the Ocean Park Building. This large-scale move has provided comfort and spaciousness for the 6th-floor employees, while the 12th-floor employees are able to experience the well-equipped new office.

After moving to the new office, Hanoi headquarters employees started their first day with a range of emotions. Mr. Doan (IID) excitedly shared: “I followed my usual habit of taking the stairs instead of the elevator to the 6th floor and then realized the office had moved to the 12th floor. I’m still getting used to the spacious new office, but it’s better equipped. The view from the windows is also very beautiful.” Ms. Kieu Oanh (IID) said: “When I heard about the move to the new office, I felt a bit sad because I couldn’t work with my friends from the 6th floor, but the new office is spacious and convenient, which motivates everyone. However, waiting for the elevator each morning is quite challenging, which makes me nostalgic for the days working on the 6th floor.” Mr. Quang Tuan (BizConnex) shared his first impressions with the “new neighbors”: “Previously, BizConnex enjoyed working in our own 'kingdom,' so at first, it was unusual to share a room with another group after moving to the 12th floor. Also, Biz members cannot talk as much as when we were on the 7th floor. But after a month here, we’ve gradually adapted to the new neighbors. The IID group members are very kind, and we are enjoying this new daily life.” In addition to the excitement of the new office, some employees feel nostalgic for their time on the 6th floor. Mr. Chung Phong (IID) said: “Moving to the larger and better-equipped 12th floor is great, but even after two months, it still doesn’t feel like we’ve left the 6th floor. It’s hard to describe in words. The 6th floor was where I started working, and after more than two years, it felt like a second home. That said, working on the 12th floor with only IID and BizConnex departments feels very comfortable. I think the two groups now have more opportunities to bond through activities.” While getting used to the new office takes some time, Hanoi employees will quickly adapt to the new space and “neighbors.” This modern open-space office is expected to motivate Hanoi headquarters members to stay committed and contribute more to the company.
