Since November 2021, Vconomics has adopted the SmartKYC (Electronic Know Your Customer) solution developed by GMO-Z.com RUNSYSTEM into its user account verification process, aiming to optimize customer experience while reducing fraud and identity theft. Vconomics is a platform that provides comprehensive financial services, personalized for individuals or groups based on understanding users through Big Data and AI technology. Launched in June 2021, Vconomics has attracted over 2 million members not only in Vietnam but also from all around the world. SmartKYC is a product researched and developed by GMO-Z.com RUNSYSTEM based on artificial intelligence (AI). SmartKYC features outstanding capabilities such as 99% OCR accuracy, detection of up to 30 signs of forgery, and anti-spoofing for masks, photos, and videos. On average, Vconomics processes more than 17,000 account verification requests each month. Regarding the results after more than three months of implementing GMO’s eKYC, Mr. Trần Đức Thông – Co-Founder/CTO of Vconomics shared: “With high requirements for accuracy and response time in the eKYC process, we are quite satisfied with the OCR results of SmartKYC, which work well even under complex image conditions (blurry images, glare, or old documents).
