VinWonders Project – A Dreamlike Masterpiece

VinWonders Website Development Project at https://vinwonders.com was implemented by the project team of GMO-Z.com RUNSYSTEM within 2.5 months, from March 14 to May 30, 2022. The website features information on six iconic destinations from South to North, such as: Grand World Phu Quoc, Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc, VinWonders Phu Quoc, as well as seven signature attractions like Tata Show, Once Show, Venice Colors, Vietnam Quintessence, Submarine Nha Trang, Kingdom of Ocean, and Night Safari — all completed and launched on the night of May 30. This project also marked the first collaboration between the BSD and IID departments of the company within such a short timeframe.

Accelerating Delivery with an Agile Project Management Model

The website was developed on the WordPress 5.9 platform. To meet tight deadlines and customer requirements, the project team adopted the Agile methodology, enhancing flexibility and responsiveness through iterative sprints. This approach required continuous communication and collaboration — a perfect fit for a visually rich project like VinWonders, which significantly reduced revisions and streamlined implementation time. Clients were involved throughout the process, offering timely feedback to ensure the final product aligned with expectations while being delivered at record speed. The Agile model also fostered strong teamwork and mutual support. Despite many team members being new and less experienced, they demonstrated a rapid learning curve, met deadlines, and tackled tough client demands with determination. Given that VinWonders places high emphasis on visuals and concepts, our design team even spent three weeks on-site to directly consult and execute the client's vision. With limited content and image resources for unreleased attractions, the team had to innovate, creating visuals based on rough sketches and client ideas to deliver stunning final designs.

As the launch date approached, the entire team had to work at 200% capacity to ensure both quality and timeline. Even after completion, several pages were revised again per client feedback, impacting other phases of the project. However, the client’s proactive support and engagement became a huge motivator for the team to deliver a successful product on time — aligning perfectly with VinWonders’ summer tourism campaign. Always striving to bring joy and satisfaction to clients – Once the website officially went live, the team received client recognition and sweet souvenirs symbolizing the three “super destinations.” The final project wrap-up meeting was filled with happiness and pride, as months of effort yielded outstanding results. "At first, I knew this would be a tough challenge because of the tight schedule, but the team was determined. Even though we expected approval to be hard, it was still more demanding than imagined — everyone had to stay focused and give their best to deliver on time.
