GMO RUNSYSTEM affirms credibility with CMMi Level 3, ISO 9001 & ISO 27001 certifications

With the goal of always ensuring quality and information security, GMO RUNSYSTEM has made continuous efforts, regularly improving and maintaining the stability of its CMMi Level 3 certification. Recently, the company also successfully completed surveillance audits for ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 27001:2013.
Affirming quality with CMMi Level 3
CMMi is a model that provides guidelines and practical experience for developing, improving, and assessing the capability of software production processes, developed by the CMMi Institute. The CMMi certification has global value, determining the maturity level of companies in software development and related services. The CMMi model is a collection of best practices applied in reality, helping companies improve processes quickly, effectively, and with high quality.
GMO RUNSYSTEM was first certified with CMMi Level 3 on July 30, 2012. Since obtaining the certification, the company has continuously improved and maintained the application of the standard to ensure product quality delivered to customers. The successful establishment and application of a rigorous process, evaluated as meeting international CMMi standards, is one of the factors that help standardize production processes, manage quality, enhance capacity, competitiveness, and brand reputation in both domestic and international markets.

Therefore, on July 30, 2015, GMO RUNSYSTEM was honored to be recertified with CMMi for the second time. The certificate is valid until July 30, 2018.
Efforts to maintain ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 27001:2013
ISO 9001 is the international standard for quality management systems issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). It can be applied to all fields of production, business, services, and for organizations of all sizes. The full name of ISO 9001:2008 is “Quality Management System Requirements.”
GMO RUNSYSTEM Joint Stock Company was first certified with ISO 9001:2008 on May 4, 2012. During the 3-year validity period of the certificate, GMO RUNSYSTEM continuously maintained and affirmed its quality management system with 3 successful surveillance audits, one each year. Therefore, on May 4, 2015, the company was once again confirmed by UKAS (United Kingdom) to have achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification for the second time.

Alongside ISO 9001:2008, recognizing the trend of IT development and international economic integration, GMO RUNSYSTEM quickly invested in building an Information Security Management System (ISMS) according to ISO/IEC 27001:2013. With its capabilities and expertise, GMO RUNSYSTEM was quickly awarded the ISO 27001:2013 certificate on February 20, 2014.
ISO 27001 is the standard for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS), also developed and issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

Building the Information Security Management System not only helps GMO RUNSYSTEM establish a secure information infrastructure but also ensures that the information system remains confidential, minimizing risks. In addition, implementing information security management according to the international ISO 27001 standard also raises awareness and responsibility among employees in protecting partner and customer information in the Internet era. The international certification for the Information Security Management System, issued by DAS - UK, is also an essential passport for globalization, acting as a key for businesses to collaborate with others both domestically and internationally.
With continuous efforts to maintain and stabilize quality, on February 29, 2016, GMO RUNSYSTEM successfully passed the surveillance audits for ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 27001:2013 by DAS – UKAS.
The successful recertification of CMMi Level 3, ISO 9001:2008, and ISO 27001:2013 provides GMO RUNSYSTEM with the opportunity to further affirm and promote the company’s quality standards.
