ITS Seminar – The Revolution in Entertainment Technology

On the morning of March 20, 2017, GMO-Z.com RUNSYSTEM Joint Stock Company in collaboration with GMO-Z.com Vietnam Lab Center organized the 2nd ITS (Infinity Tech Seminar) at the office of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (No. 1 Lieu Giai, Ba Dinh, Hanoi).

The seminar was attended by 6 speakers from GMO-Z.com RUNSYSTEM, GMO-Z.com Vietnam Lab Center, and guest Fujitech. The event attracted a large number of participants; in addition to the 3 companies mentioned above, some representatives from VNPT also joined the seminar.

Infinity Tech Seminar is a quarterly event aimed at providing and sharing knowledge about technology. Moreover, it is also an opportunity for individuals to raise opinions, questions, or even debates on discussed topics to make the program more practical and meaningful.

The topics of this seminar focused on revolutionary technologies in the entertainment and service sectors such as Big Data, Virtual Reality (VR), using Shader in Cocos-2dx, text processing in videos,… as well as seemingly simple but highly interesting issues like fixing MySQL errors and Docker.

As usual, after each presentation, there was a Q&A session to increase interaction with participants. This seminar received very enthusiastic participation, with many questions raised and lively discussions, reflecting the true spirit of a seminar.

Mr. Nguyen Tan Minh – Deputy Director of GMO-Z.com RUNSYSTEM Joint Stock Company shared: “I hope that after this seminar, we can create groups, for example on Facebook, where we can ask questions and share more experiences or concerns that were not addressed today. Thank you to the speakers for putting so much effort into preparing today’s presentations.”

When asked about his impression of the seminar, Mr. Tran Phuc Hoan, a participant from GMO-Z.com Vietnam Lab Center, said: “I was quite satisfied with this seminar, the organization was better and more professional, and the speakers had more time for their presentations.”

The next seminar is expected to be held in July 2017.
