On April 9, 2022, GMO-Z.com RUNSYSTEM and its SmartOCR solution were featured on VTV1’s “Digital Nation” program. SmartOCR is an AI-powered document digitization platform developed by GMO-Z.com RUNSYSTEM, renowned for its advanced Vietnamese handwriting recognition and data extraction capabilities.
During the program, Mr. Nguyen Tan Minh – Deputy CEO of GMO-Z.com RUNSYSTEM shared: “Every business has its own unique document types. With our philosophy of "Internet for Everyone, Digitization Anytime Anywhere", we developed the Extractor feature to empower non-technical users to define and extract data from their own document formats.”
SmartOCR has been successfully implemented by major organizations across finance, banking, government, and retail sectors. A notable example is Vietnam Maritime Corporation (VIMC), which, after one year of deployment, digitized nearly 45% of its 20 years of paper archives, enabling faster and more efficient information retrieval and sharing across the organization.
