The 2017 Vietnam Online Marketing Forum (VOMF) with the theme “Outstanding Marketing Trends” successfully took place in Ho Chi Minh City (August 15) and in Hanoi (August 17). This event was organized by the Vietnam E-commerce Association (VECOM) to promote the online marketing industry in particular and Vietnamese e-commerce in general, helping businesses approach new marketing trends and improve the efficiency of their online business activities.
The event revolved around 4 sessions with 3 main topics: Affiliate marketing and search engine marketing; Automated marketing and multi-channel marketing; Mobile marketing, social media marketing, content marketing, along with other forms such as email marketing, livestream marketing, video marketing, SMS marketing, and more.
One of the key factors that created value for VOMF 2017 was the participation of highly specialized and reputable speakers in the industry. With their experience from major corporations and companies such as Google, Lazada, Zalo, Nielsen, MicroAd, Smartly, Z.com… the speakers brought to VOMF 2017 the latest insights, forecasts, and trends in online business and marketing, many of which had never been disclosed in Vietnam before.

Participating in the Forum, Mr. Tran Duc Tam, Chief Representative of Z.com in Vietnam, shared his thoughts on Building and positioning a brand in the era of information explosion: “A strong brand is not just one that appears frequently in the media, but a strong brand must be one that lives in the minds of customers.”
In addition, he emphasized: “Brand positioning is a compulsory cycle for every business. It has no beginning, it never ends, and it is not a final destination, but rather a continuous process. Repositioning the brand is crucial. Repositioning helps to position the brand even better.”
Within the framework of the event, many engaging topics on online marketing were also shared by other speakers, providing valuable insights for business owners such as analyzing and understanding customer psychology, user search trends and conversion rate optimization solutions, skills to attract customers from social media, and solutions to increase sales through 360 livestream technology.
