ERP System Implementation Project and the Journey to Earning Customer Trust at baAn

With 100% effort, determination, and an unceasing working spirit, overcoming many other strong competitors, BizConnex members successfully gained the trust of the customer in the ERP Implementation Project for baAN.  The baAn Odoo Enterprise ERP project was carried out by BizConnex members including: Công NV, Thảo NN, Vinh NH, Ngọc ND, Phú NM, Lộc CT. baAn is one of the big names in Vietnam’s construction industry with more than 15 years of experience in manufacturing and supplying HDPE pipes and underground cable solutions for electricity and telecommunications.  As a large company with the need to implement a comprehensive management system across processes from purchasing, sales, warehouse, production to accounting, invoicing, maintenance, quality, CRM, and support, baAn set very strict criteria in selecting an implementation partner.  The journey of approaching, persuading, and successfully winning the project with baAn was a long story for all members, especially for Mr. Công NV – Sales Executive of BizConnex. Around December 2018, we started contacting baAn’s representatives to introduce the ERP product. At that time, their company’s perspective was to use higher-end software than ours such as SAP, Oracle, Infor... These brands all own powerful platforms and solutions, applied in many fields and successfully implemented in many countries worldwide. However, these solutions came with very high costs and were very limited in customization. Finding a customer who had an actual demand to explore ERP was very difficult, so although the chances were slim, Mr. Công NV still sent over introduction materials and scheduled a meeting with the message: "Please explore freely, I’ll still be waiting for you."  All the effort and patience were eventually rewarded. On a beautiful day in June 2019, baAn’s representative contacted us again and scheduled a product introduction. The customer raised their requirements, and our Runners dedicatedly addressed each issue. After 2 demo sessions and a great deal of discussion, the BizConnex team’s solution completely convinced the partner with outstanding criteria such as: cost, customization, and user-friendliness. Finally, after many rounds of selection and evaluation, baAn decided to choose BizConnex as their ERP implementation partner.  The project is expected to be implemented within 8 months. Currently, it is in the survey and business requirement analysis stage. At this stage, the project members faced quite a few requests for adjustments to fit the standard system. While clarifying requirements and analyzing them, they also had to advise the customer on the most optimal options, minimizing changes as much as possible. The Runners had to work at full capacity with 100% effort and professionalism. Up to now, we have received quite a number of compliments and customer satisfaction.

The road ahead is still long with challenges awaiting our Runners in general and the BizConnex team in particular. Hopefully, BizConnex members will continue to ignite their passion and enthusiasm to achieve the best success for the project and bring as many smiles as possible to customers, true to the motto “We work for your smile”.
